Family = Joy

Today as I was uploading some more pictures onto the computer. I came across pictures that I had scanned in about a year ago. Most of these pictures are from my childhood. I couldn't help but smile, and remember how great my family has been, then and now. I decided that during those times life seemed hard then too, but as I look back, there are days that I'd just love to go back and be young again. I think all of us take for granted sometimes how much time we get to spend with our families when we are younger. Back then I know there were times I just wanted to get away, but as I have grown up a bit, I now wish I could see my bothers and sisters more often. So for my post today, I wanted to just take you down my memory lane and let you see some pictures of some of the people who made me who I am today!



Hopefully most of my family is okay with me posting the pictures. I think my family is amazing and I am glad for the family I have now as well. I love you guys!!

Behind on the times

I know it's been a while. The last time I tried to update my blog the computer decided "now is not a good time" and it turned off, and wouldn't turn back on. So, I am here to try again. So far, so good. A few things have happened since I last updated everyone. McKenna had her dance recital for LaShars in May. She did so well. Unfortunately, the power went out and all the dancers were back stage terrified. There were no windows in the room they were all in and it was pitch black. She bucked up and even went back inside to do the last number when the power came back on.


The kids have also enjoyed the warmer weather. They get together with the kids in the area and usually have a really good time. For some reason our house seems to be the house that the kids love to come over to play in. I think my kids concider it a bonus, sometimes I do too!!


We have been working pretty hard on getting our yard the way we want it. We laid sod and it looks nice. I am so excited to be getting it all done! We have loved being outside alot more already.

It's the little things

So, we've all heard that it's the little things in life, that make life so enjoyable. I know for me sometimes it's even hard to notive the little things, when life arounds me seems like a whirlwind. Something I've notived is that my "little things" in life happen when I'm least expecting them. Here are a few of my favorite!
